Brains by Tim Frank

Take these crimes from the silt
Under my nails
And stretch the sky like a rubber band
Foil the reds, dissolve the blues, and stack the sapphire souls into blocks of cement
Eat my share, I have a steak in the freezer
Bloody as hell
Damn my roots, I want to grow another team
Forget the sea
Breaking on the shore and the
Slabs of gold on funeral pyres
They’re scared to face the truth Ruth
Twisting like candy floss
And cancerous tissues
Reciprocate, reciprocate, reciprocate
There’s a hole in my neck which of late I cannot help but fall
Cocaine eyes, Super Glue mind
Take it all
But leave a light on when I’m gone
Maybe I’ll find my way with a boxer’s blow
Warning signs are in the air we breathe
I’m an aesthetic boy
With my brains on the carpet
My priest is an alien
His brains on the carpet
